Bowen is celebrating its 150th birthday on Saturday 18th. The front beach foreshore is holding a big celebration from 6 - 10:30pm. There will be live music, kid's entertainment, food and drink stalls and best of all fireworks at 8:30pm. The sailing club is positioned about 20 meters from the action! Should be a good night for all.
Banana Pocket next bush dance on 18th June. 7:30 pm at Banana Pocket Hall, Lethebrook. I hope you're set to swing, twirl, strut and stride. There will be a light supper available for $3.50 with money raised going to a children's camp in the NT. The Lethebrook community will also be running raffles.
