Tonight's 4 Corners will be worth watching if you want to know what is happening with port developments on the GBR.

Mondays at 8.30pm and repeated Tuesdays at 11.35pm on ABC1, also on Saturdays at 2.00pm on News24.

What's On

Volunteer JPs available in new service – people often need a JP – witnessing documents – Tuesdays 11am – 2pm – Thursdays 2.30pm – 6pm. Whitsunday Shopping Centre. Ivan Conway 0419 799 401 – Ivan also started a service at the Proserpine Courthouse.

 

Last week I talked about the  Rotary phone book that has been published for 26 years.  However, I forgot to mention that it is distributed with military precision by local RSL members as a fund raiser. The new book is out now or you can access all the information online at www.mywhitsunday.com

 

Remarkable Remembrance Day- The RSL Airlie Beach Whitsunday Sub Branch advises that Remembrance Day service will commence at 1100 Friday November 11 and for those interested in unique numbers it will be the eleventh hour of 11/11/11. There will be a get together after. A bus will be provided to attend the Cenotaph. They could also use a driver for the day – details Bill Rose 49464486
