Business owners, residents and ratepayers are invited to a community meeting to discuss the future of the Proserpine Main Street. The aim is to develop a framework for the revitalisation of the main street and enhance the sense of civic pride with such projects as an entrance statement and beautification. A structured approach to revitalising the main street will also allow us to access funding from alternative sources and to feed the plan into the preparation of the new planning scheme. The community meeting will be held at the Proserpine Entertainment Centre on Thursday 14 March at 6pm.

Local first-time Author, Jeff Self, will be stopping by the Whitsunday Regional Council Libraries to discuss his book Blokes & Dunnies.
Jeff will be visiting the following Libraries:
Bowen Library, Wed March 13th 10am to 11am
Cannonvale Library, Thurs March 14th 2pm to 3pm
Proserpine Library, Thurs March 14th 5pm to 6pm
