May 21, Wetland Walkabout Open Day

Wetland Walkabout Open Day, on Sunday 31 May from 10am – 1pm, at Wetland Walkabout on Keeleys Road.

There will be guided tours of the wetlands at 10.30am and 12noon, and a talk on wetland fish and bugs at 11.45am.

The open day will be a great opportunity to learn more about these wetlands and how they have been rehabilitated from property manager, Mark Gallate.  Local groups/organisations will also be on hand to provide information on plants and animals, weed species, wetlands' role in protecting our coral reefs and much more.
