Junior AFL this weekend

Good afternoon all, just a reminder about next Sunday the 28th that we have the under 9 & under 11 carnival on at Rogers Oval in Mackay (just off Bridge Rd behind the Airport).
Carnival starts at 10.00am sharp so we need to be there by 9.30am and it will be finished by 1.00pm.
Can all interested parents please email or text me the child's name that will be participating as we need to finalise this before Thursday.
We have got our new Whitsunday Sea Eagles jumpers for all three teams thanks to Whitsunday Transit so please make every endeavour to be apart of this great event (the last for the year).
Regards, Jamie Fuhrmann

The next bush dance is only a few weeks away - July 30

Hi everyone,

The next bush dance is only a few weeks away.

7:30 pm
Saturday 30th July
at the Bloomsbury Hall.

I have been down to check it out and it looks like a great venue.
Large wooden dance floor, large area with table and chairs and a big kitchen.
Cynthia and friends will be doing the supper again at $3.50 a serve.
There will be tea and coffee and soft drinks available throughout the night.
The Bloomsbury State School P&C will run some raffles and spot prises to raise money for the school.

Cynthia is also organising a bus from Airlie Beach to Bloomsbury and return.
If you are interested please phone her on 0407 035 963.
If she gets the right number of people it will cost around $10 a head.

We will have a couple of new dances for you plus the old favourites.
Of course all the dances will be called (instructions given)

We are also keen to put a small demonstration team together to promote the
Great Barrier Reef Open Dance Championship and our bush dances.
If you are interested please contact me straight away and we will organise it.

Looking forward to catching up with you all.

All the best
