4th annual Whitsunday Relay for Life
Event theme "Wild Wild West" - for costumes and tents * Starts 3pm on Sat 26 April, finishing 18 hours later at 9am Sunday.
* At - Cannonvale State School
* Teams of 10-15 walk around the track in relay style keeping the team baton moving for 18 hours
* All ages welcome
* Teams raise funds pre-event - event target this year is $85,000 ($66,500 in 2007)
* All funds raised go to The Cancer Council Qld for cancer research, early detection programs and patient support
* Great entertainment, movies, games, prizes
* Choice of food from local restaurants with profit going to fundraising
