May 22. Biggest Morning Tea

Neighbourhood Centre's 'Biggest Morning Tea'. We are planning to hold the morning tea on Thursday 22nd May at 10am. We are arranging entertainment and of course there will be plenty of tea and scones. In order to create some community interest and get as many people to attend as possible we were hoping to raffle off a prize/prizes on the day. I was hoping that you might be able to get in touch with your contacts and let people/organisations know that we would greatly appreciate any donations of prizes. All funds raised will go directly to the cancer council to assist with cancer research. As you are probably already aware, the Whitsunday Neighbourhood Centre is a not for profit organisation that provides a variety of services aimed at assisting members of the community. These events are a great way to get the community involved and make them aware of the important services provided by the Neighbourhood Centre as well as to raise money for a great cause. I realise that it this fairly short notice, but any assistance you can provide would be much appreciated. Any people wishing to donate something for the morning tea can contact me at the Neighbourhood Centre on 4946 7850. Likewise, should you require further information, please give me a call. Thanks so much for your help. It is much appreciated.
Kind Regards, Courtney Franzway, Community Development Officer
