Game fish club The Whitsunday Game Fish Club is celebrating 30 years this weekend in the best possible way, by going fishing.
Indeed, the club has turned it into a long weekend with the Meridien Marinas 8-kilogram light tackle game fish tournament to start on Thursday and continue until Sunday.
There have been some nice fish about with even your Waterfront writer hooking up to a nice mackerel.
You will get a nice welcome at the game fish club on Altmann Ave Cannonvale were you could check on the tournament progress over a coldie. Get your coldie from the bar, walk out and cast a line into the
