This Boxing Day, join us at the Whitsunday Sailing Club to celebrate the start of the Rolex Sydney- Hobart Yacht Race. We will have a big screen so you can see all the action on Sydney Harbour, Wild Oats wine and cheese tasting and heaps of Wild Oats crew gear to giveaway!
One of the highlights of the sporting calendar, the start of the Sydney-Hobart race is a stunning event to watch, whether you are into sailing or not. Thousands of yachts fill Sydney Harbour for one of the most picturesque events in Australia, and there's certainly more action than on the cricket pitch!
Let us do all the work on Boxing Day. We have the perfect location to come and unwind after a busy Christmas Day and you won't have to cook a thing. We offer excellent bistro meals and reasonably priced drinks and social members receive additional discounts. If you haven't been to the Club for a while, come down with your friends on 26 December from 10am – 1pm for the start of the race and stay for lunch. The Whitsunday Sailing Club really is the perfect place to enjoy the best of the Whitsundays.
