All are invited to a
FREE Lantana Control Field Day
Thursday 30th April 2009 from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm (latest)
at Bill Camm's property at the end of Jansen Road: turn south off Shute Harbour Road near Mt Marlow. Look for the signs.
The field day will showcase a range of control methods:
- good pasture management
- use of fire
- mechanical control bobcat with lantana fork
- chemical control cut/stump, basal bark & foliar spraying
- splatter gun - great for forested areas and steep country
- biological control the latest research
There will be staff from WCL, Department of Primary Industries & Fisheries (DPI&F) & Local Government present on the day to help answer your questions.
BYO chair. Morning Tea will be provided. Please wear closed in shoes and hat.
