Early rise for Anzac Day in Proserpine

Early rise for Anzac Day in Proserpine

Whitsunday residents should prepare themselves for an early start to Anzac
Day with a 4.28am dawn service planned in Proserpine.

Federal Member for Dawson, George Christensen, said information supplied
for a notice of Anzac service times delivered this week incorrectly listed
the start time for Proserpine's dawn service as 5.30am.****

"There is always a big turnout for the dawn service in Proserpine so
everyone should be aware of the correct time," he said. ****

The service returns to a 4.28am time slot this year and I'm sure the town
will turn out in force once again."

A 38 SQN King Air will flyover at 10.30am to mark the start of the main
parade.

In Airlie Beach, the dawn service will begin at 5.30am at the new
Cannonvale Cenotaph and will be followed by a Gunfire Breakfast at the Reef
Gateway from 6.30am.

Regards,

Dave
